Products and Collections
What products does Havok Guitars offer?
Havok Guitars offers complete guitars, guitar bodies, guitar necks, bridges, tuners, pickups, pickup covers, knobs, control components, pickguards, pedals and other performance accessories.
Do you sell complete guitars?
Yes. Our Guitars collection includes complete instruments for players who want a ready-to-play option rather than building an instrument from individual components.
Explore complete guitarsCan I purchase components for a custom guitar build?
Yes. You can browse bodies, necks, hardware, pickups, covers, knobs and controls separately. This allows you to select components for a new custom build, restoration, repair or upgrade.
How do I choose the right product?
Start by identifying your guitar type, measurements, mounting style and intended use. Compare those details with the specifications shown on the product page. For components, checking dimensions is especially important.
Do product colours look exactly the same in person?
We aim to display product colours accurately. Minor differences may occur because of screen settings, lighting, materials, production batches and natural wood grain.
Compatibility and Installation
Are all guitar bodies and necks compatible?
No. Compatibility can depend on the neck pocket dimensions, heel shape, scale length, screw pattern, fret count and bridge position. Compare all listed measurements before purchasing a body and neck for the same project.
What should I check before ordering a guitar neck?
Check the heel width, heel depth, scale length, fret count, nut width, tuner hole size, mounting pattern and truss rod access. These details help determine whether the neck will fit your guitar body and existing hardware.
What is the difference between nickel and stainless steel frets?
Nickel frets provide a familiar traditional feel and are generally easier for a technician to level or replace. Stainless steel frets are harder, resist wear for longer and may provide a smoother feel during bending.
How do I know which bridge will fit my guitar?
Compare the bridge style, post spacing, string spacing, mounting holes, body routing and scale length requirements. Similar-looking bridges may use different measurements, so visual appearance alone is not enough to confirm fit.
Are guitar knobs universal?
Not always. Knobs may be designed for split-shaft, solid-shaft, coarse-spline or fine-spline potentiometers. Check the shaft type and diameter of your control before ordering.
How do I select the right pickup cover?
Confirm whether your pickup is a humbucker or single coil, then compare the pole spacing, cover dimensions and mounting arrangement. Pickup covers that appear similar may still use different spacing.
Do guitar parts require professional installation?
Some accessories are simple to install, while necks, bridges, pickups, frets and electronic components may require specialist tools, soldering, routing or setup work. Professional installation is recommended when you are not confident completing the work safely and accurately.
Will a new neck or bridge require a guitar setup?
In most cases, yes. Changes to the neck, bridge, tuning or string gauge can affect neck relief, string action, intonation and pickup height. A complete setup helps the instrument play correctly after installation.

Care and Maintenance
How should I clean my guitar?
Wipe the strings, body and neck with a clean microfibre cloth after playing. Use products specifically designed for the guitar's finish and fretboard material. Avoid household cleaners and harsh chemicals.
How often should guitar strings be replaced?
Replace strings when they feel rough, look corroded, sound dull or struggle to remain in tune. Replacement frequency depends on how often you play, your playing style and the environment where the guitar is stored.
How should I store a guitar?
Store the guitar in a secure case, padded bag or stable instrument stand. Keep it away from direct sunlight, heaters, cooling vents, damp areas and locations where it may be knocked over.
Can humidity and temperature damage a guitar?
Yes. Extreme or rapidly changing conditions can affect the neck, fretboard, finish, hardware, glue joints and string action. Store the guitar in a stable environment and allow it to adjust gradually after exposure to very hot or cold conditions.
When should I arrange a professional guitar setup?
Consider a setup after changing the neck, bridge, string gauge or tuning. A setup may also be required when the guitar develops high action, fret buzz, poor intonation, tuning problems or uneven playability.
